Principal Software Engineers

Somerville, MA

Job Description

We are developing a line of RF test and measurement equipment, and are looking for an experienced software engineers for device driver and application development.

Responsibilities:

  • Systems and applications software development for state-of-the-art test and measurement instrumentation
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering and science teams for integrated product development
  • Develop automated testing software and system calibration software
  • Design and implement user interface software specific for PXI and PCI Express applications

Qualifications (Required):

  • BS in computer science or electrical engineering with 10+ years experience in industry
  • Windows and Linux device drivers and applications development: LabView, IVI-C, MatLab
  • FPGA-based system design
  • Rapid prototyping software environments
  • Good communications, project management and interdisciplinary team work skills

Preferred:

  • MS /PhD in computer science, electrical engineering, or physics with 5+ years experience in industry
  • Experience in GUI, compilers and client-server systems (XML RPC)
  • Experience in RF engineering, test and measurement systems, DSP
